Smurfed from libertarianism: Another case of school administration stepping off the deep end with this story about a student facing expulsion for posting to his blog about being bullied and threatened — by the SCHOOL!
The kid made no threats. FBI was not called. Police weren’t even involved. It’s censorship. It’s harassment. The kid posted on his blog “telling off the district, using vulgar words and saying he could put whatever he wanted on his site.”
“The student’s mother said the district suspended her son for 10 days for inappropriate comments and vague threats. She thinks the school is overreacting. ”
Like cyclotron said: The use of internet posting to fire employees and harass students is on the rise.
