In an old worn photo album I have a photo that I took in Germany way back in the early 1950s when my unit was on maneuvers out in the countryside. It shows a German who was grazing his flock of sheep nearby and a sign we placed on the ground in front of him and his ship which said that this area was off limits to all American soldiers.

One day if you&#039;re ever down my way you might drop by and take a look at some of my memorabilia from a half-century and more ago.</description>
