HA can be a blessing, or a curse depending on how you judge the rules. Also...and a big one, make sure you not only know the rules beforehand, but are they actually enforced? Lookin real nice Missy Nicki. It’s a buyers market so you should be able to negotiate a reasonable price, and like “Jo” stated, get all the info you can from the HA. I’ve heard some real horror stories from folks who reside in an area that has them. They are truly a double edged sword. If this is truly the home you want, I wish you all the best and may your dreams come to fruition.

Lou Ann mentioned the HA, and we’ll be talking with someone about them at some point, as we already know there will be an “upkeep fee” due every year from us and the other residents in this area.

Be sure the Homeowners' Association bylaws are explained to you fully before you sign on the dotted line. Some insurance requirements may have to be met and you may not be able to paint or fix anything without approval. Looks sweet though! Jo´s last blog post: New Laptop and Fighting Malware
