Saw a well fed mouse running outside our house last night....first time I have seen a mouse here. There is a local cat who normally does the neighbourhood rounds but haven't seen him/her in a few weeks.....will have to find the neighbourhood cat and ask him/her nicely to come visit more often!

Owned many, MANY animals in my life, and at present my critter a registered Wolf/Dog (Czarina) with a great disposition and temperment (Loves kids).

But, the best pet I ever owned was a Maine Coon Cat we named "Buster". He was initially the runt of the litter, but grew up to be 25 pounds of one lovable and independent pu...er...cat. He used to meet me on our boat dock when I came in from fishin, and G-d help me, I'd better had caught some fish or he would ignore me fer a day or so... ;-) Then, while cleaning the fish, I'd always throw him some belly meat, which he definately preferred. Yupper, cats can grow on ya...
