2.7 has been awesome. Flawless upgrade for me. The new comments moderation and dynamic menus on the left side are major time savers. And it still works on my Palm Treo, which is amazing.

Hey there Amiga. O/T: I just now got a chance to read yur "Pistol Packin Mama" post. Good on ya my friend. Nice weapons, and good choices. Do you have any idear about how many liberal, left wing primadonna type New York women who may have read that post must have literally had fits about you (dast I say it), a woman, carrying a gun.

Fortunately, I live upstate where many women are rural in nature and accustomed to being around guns, although that number is dwindling daily as more and more "politically correct" types are moving to rural areas. Being a retired Detective, I have a permit to carry, and every now and then my weapon may show from under my jacket, and some women will go absolutely catatonic and/or bonkers, and some even begin to "lecture" me about the evils of guns. So, when I read your most refreshing article, I enjoyed it.

Looks great. I decided to take a walk on the wild side and installed 2.7 while it was still a release candidate, so I've been using it for a week or so now. I really like the admin panel. I only had a couple of plugins that were either broken or obsolete with this release. Also--and you may have already known this--but you can upgrade WP automatically now, right from within the admin panel. Works great, from the one time that I used it.

Rick´s last blog post: Satriani + Coldplay
