@jo: Thanks for the advice. We're going to see the doc Tuesday, and hopefully by then we will have seen the adjuster. We got a couple lawyers in the family, so I may hit one of them up for some advice if needed.

@Uncle Monster: Thank you. I really believe that booster seat helped keep Jessie from serious injury. She resents having to sit in it, but she's so small for her age ... I think she's thankful for it now.

The wreck COULD have been a lot worse.

@Doc: Will do, sweetheart. Jim echoes your sentiments. He was in a wreck years ago and didn't get checked out ... now he has back trouble from time to time from it.

@Rick: Thank you, will do.

Yep, I agree...get it checked out, just to be on the safe side. Glad you both are doing well, though.

*frowns* Please to be getting a checkup just in case something was knocked loose in you or Jessie. (Sounds silly but it does happen - every time I'm hit by a car, I go even if I know nothing's broken just on the off chance something is) *Gentle Hugs*

I can't have two of my little girlfriends getting hurt at the same
time. The fact that you were in a modern vehicle protected you
and Jessie. The overwhelming fact that you have the brains to
use not only the safety equipment provided by the car maker but
the addition of the munchkin booster seat provided by you allowed
both you kids to walk away relatively unscathed. I don't know
about your mental state after the accident but I drive like everyone
is out to get me. I drive a full sized V-8 powered van and there are
any number of inattentive dingbats driving SUV's bigger than my van
out there, it's scary. I'm glad you're OK.
