Believe it or not, it's classic advertising for the reasons stated by Ben...however, even though I don't drink(anymore), I wouldn't buy that product ever again. They are playing the odds on those who will like it, as opposed to those like myself and you Nicki.....

Damned Assholes.....

It worked as an advertisement though, because it enraged you to talk about it. Even if you no longer buy their products, others will see this advert, think it's a bit funny and buy a bottle.

If a beer company came out with the slogan "BEER! Only for gays and nazi's" I wouldn't stop buying it. In fact i'd buy more.

I'm just wondering where the billboard was located. It's definitely coming from a perspective that's south of the border. It doesn't enrage me as much as it makes me question how many people are going to be turned off by it...which makes for some pretty stupid marketing on their part. Everybody's entitled to their opinion, it's just a matter of if you want to put your money where your mouth is. Apparently, they do.

Back when life was good and Henry Weinhard's was brewed in Portland, Oregon, I saw a billboard that this kind of reminds me of. It showed a map of the western half of the United States, with the state of California completely gone, completely part of the Pacific Ocean. I don't remember what the Weinhard's caption was, but it was definitely Oregon-centric. I wonder how much beer we sold down there that year.
