Site for Bama Angels

It’s been up for almost three weeks, but I’ve kept its location pretty hush-hush until I had the “go ahead” from someone at Soldiers’ Angels. Well, last night I got the OK from Patti Bader (the MAIN woman herself!), so of course I’m all giddy and happy this morning. :mrgreen:

So, without further ado … www.BamaAngels.org

There’s not a whole lot on there yet, but I have several things bookmarked that I want to post so I’ll be adding more content this weekend! :grin:

    Congrats on the new site….er…but…may I make a suggestion. When I first read your post about “BamaAngels.org” , my heart truly sank a mile. Because of the name, I immediately thought “Oh No…she’s an Obama supporter…I thought she was smart and cool”…TRUE! :cry: Then I went to the site and was truly relieved to learn you had NOT taken leave of your senses….

    Maybe its just me, but see if any other folks had the same reaction, and if so, ya might wanna consider changin the name to sumthin else….

    But…thats just my way of thinkin…..

    You know, that had never once occurred to me. It just seemed natural because growing up, “Bama” is short for “Alabama”

    Yupper….once I went to the site, I immediately knew ya meant Alabama…but like I said…scared the hell outta the Cookie man it did..
