I guess I'm fortunate in that all of the districts in our 2-county area host at our ESD, whose tech department is the envy of the state. However, it is good to see that LP is continuing with this program. Sounds like there are some districts that are taking advantage of it.

I gave up on LP last fall when I had some questions that couldn't get answered in a timely fashion. Their customer service--one of the reasons why I had started with them--had really gone down hill at the time. I said, heck, I can get lousy service for $4 a month instead of the $9 that I'm paying here. So I switched to GoDaddy, fully expecting to get lousy service. The ironic part of it is that GoDaddy's service actually ended up being quite good. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a tech support question. They even refunded some money for me when I had paid for something I didn't mean to. No question asked.

Anyway, didn't mean for that to turn into such a rant, but just wanted to share my experience with LP.

I've been with Lunarpages for years, and they are the very best.

You didn't mention the insane uptime ratio they have. Nor did you say anything about their awesome customer service.

So I will.
