Sink-oh day Mayonnaise

*grin* I’m amused far too easily, I know.

I decided after the whole immigration issues bullshit started that last year would be the last time I’d celebrate May 5th as a Mexican holiday. Hell, we (the US of A) seem celebrate it a lot more than they (Mexico) do. And none of my Latino brothers and sisters have objected (yet).

Friday, Jim and I left work around noon, and spent a long leisurely (and most delicious) lunch at Cajun Steamer. One word: YUM!

I swear, this place has the BEST fried crab claws ANYWHERE outside of a little whole in the wall place (that used to be) in the French Quarter of New Orleans.

I had my usual plate o’ claws and some red beans and rice — I was tempted to order 2 servings just so I could bring some home with me! You can’t get food that good out of a box — trust me, I’ve tried.

Anywho, I decided to rename May 5th to Crawdaddy Appreciation Day in honor of the Crawfish Boil going on this weekend — which I have missed due to a reoccurring headache *pout* — I soooooo wanted to see Sister Hazel, Live, Blues Traveler, P.O.D., Better than Ezra, and Cowboy Mouth!!!

Oh well, next year maybe …
